URANIUM MINERS, MILLERS, AND ORE TRANSPORTERS
The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) covers specific uranium enterprise employment within the following states:

The dates of coverage are from January 1, 1942, to December 31, 1971. The Act calls for the worker to have labored in an included uranium mine for a minimum of 365 days or been exposed to 40 or more operating degree months of radiation in a uranium mine during employment, throughout the specified period.
Alternatively, a worker may also have labored in an included uranium mill, or within the delivery of uranium or vanadium-uranium ore from a mine or mill, at a minimum of 365 days at some stage in the included period.
To be eligible for compensation, a claimant is required to provide proof of their employment at a covered uranium enterprise that meets these statutory necessities and a diagnosis of certain compensable diseases.

Silicosis
Pneumoconiosis
Cor pulmonale related to fibrosis of the lung
Uranium Millers & Ore Transporters

Pneumoconiosis
Cor pulmonale related to fibrosis of the lung
Renal Cancer
Chronic Renal disease
